Expected More from Fox's More to Love…Got less

Well let me just say…I was all hyped up for this More to Love show. I don’t really know what I was expecting. Maybe something more meaningful and endearing. Perhaps even something that would make you reflect on society and their biases. Alas…I just wasn’t feeling it. Nothing really moved me. I thought a few tears from these ladies might have gotten me all choked up but naaah. It just didn’t seem special enough. It really played out like any other dating show. Nothing new at all. I'm Diggin' Dating In The Dark

Now before I start…I must admit I dogged this show way back when I announced the summer shows of 2009. I won’t show that link when I did it but to say the least, I’m eating remote right now. True Blood-7/26@ 9pm-HBO Still a top notch show. I am anticipating a great episode this week. Last Week: #5
Army Wives-7/26@ 10pm-Lifetime Great last week. Two weeks in a row an instant Epie nominee. Last Week: #4
Hung-7/26@ 10pm-HBO Looks like this one is just starting to heat up. Last Week: #13
Nurse Jackie-7/27@ 10:30pm-SHO Can’t miss show. Always. Last Week:#2
In Plain Sight-7/26@ 10pm-USA They have stepped up big the last two episodes. Lets Hope it will continue. Last Week: Honorable Mention
The Closer-7/27@ 9pm-TNT Still very consistent each week. Last Week: #11

The Listener-7/23@ 10pm-NBC This show just got eeked out for a Epie nomination last week by Dark Blue. But it has been hot and cold. I think this may be a cold week. Last Week: Honorable Mention

Hello and welcome again to all the TV fans out there. It’s time to announce the Epie of the Week Award. There were some issues on a premiere that might have had an unfair advantage. I speak of Torchwood whose premiere was five nights long. However, at the end of the day, a premiere is a premiere no matter how long its duration. Some premieres are a half hour, 1 hour, two days…etc. So Torchwood gets placed as a 5 day premiere. Read more…
